Feedback from our big people
Little Bo Beats is engaging and great fun for young children. My two girls loved it. The combination of singing, rhythm, movement and percussion instruments is so beneficial to their development. The approach is structured which made participation easy and fair. Since starting Little Bo Beats I found a great improvement in my kids’ ability to listen to and echo songs and rhythms. I loved singing the old Nursery Rhymes, some of which I have been singing for years and some beautiful ones I’d never heard before. This is a fun class for young children, I highly recommend it.
Bec is a bundle of energy and charisma with huge musical talent. Her energetic classes have parents/carers and kids singing, clapping, marching and experimenting with different instruments. It’s a great way to bond with your kids.
Bec is so genuine, warm and friendly that you'll feel at home as soon as you walk in. When the lesson started, it was like we had our own ABC kids presenter in the room, just magical!
My littlest (21 months) was right at home and into everything by half way through and Bec handled her confidently and gently in a way that still allowed everyone to learn.
My eldest (3.5yo) was more shy but watched *everything* and by the end of the lesson was copying along.
The most exciting part for me, was that I learned things too! I got more out of that one lesson than I ever remember getting out of school; I had never had anyone visually explain music to me that way before and we left with a sheet summarising the lesson so I could keep it up at home. I can't recommend Bec's classes enough.
We highly recommend the music learning experience you provided to our 3 year old grandson. He enjoyed it (as did we) and your highly interactive sessions had a remarkable affect on our grandson. He participated more and more each lesson. He talked about elements of the lessons at home, and always looked forward to his time with "Bec".
My wife and I have retired but come from an educational teaching background. The methods you employ are great. Your interaction with the children is "consummate ", and we recommend that any child who is going to attend your term program will have fun and be exposed to a great learning experience.
